The Verdict
Commanding the corner of Surf Parade and Albert Ave, Koi has always been the go-to spot in Broadbeach for a cheeky cocktail and moreish bowl of fettucine.
But recently, it's undergone a complete renovation and let's just say we're digging it.
Taking over the space formerly occupied by Miss Margarita, KOI has spread its wings and now offers more seating and a stunning open kitchen, complete with waterfall marbles benches. The result is a chic yet welcoming venue.
The menu, curated by executive chef Nathan Boyd, has also had a complete overhaul. While regulars will be pleased to know they’ve held on to a handful of faves (seafood linguine and lasagne) the new menu is packed with drool-worthy eats. Broken up into antipasto, small plates, sharing dishes and their classic wood-fired pizza, there’s a mix of cuisines on offer.
