The Verdict
This little café in Westmere, named after Betty Catroux, exemplifies simplicity and elegance. With a white interior Catroux allows us to focus primarily on the vibrant cabinet, packed full to the brim. The salads are always fresh and the Paninis always innovative. Catroux’s brunch menu is top-notch with everything that’ll make you feel a little bit better about yourself; free-range eggs, eight-thirty coffee and fresh baked bread from Pukeko Bakery. And if you enjoy the cakes so much, you can order the whole. They are so delicious you can probably eat them whole, too.
