CBD And Surrounds
Vitaland Kids Cafe
Shop/13 Plaistowe Mews, West Perth WA 6005
Newly opened might be one of the prettiest play centres we've ever laid eyes on. Designed to provide a space where families and friends can come together to create memories, kids can express their creativity and interact with each other in the state-of-the-art indoor play area. They’ll be able to explore climbing structures and slides as well as the mini vet clinic, kitchen, ball pit and dress-up area.
While the kids are getting stuck into play time, it’s only right the grown-ups get to wind down in the cafe over a barista-made coffee. When hunger sets in, it’s time for the whole fam to join. Whilst nuggets and chips are certainly on the cards, there’s a massive menu full of goodies including burgers, gourmet salads, pastas and fancy sandwiches.
Entry starts at $8.90 for kids under 12 months and $15.90 for the older ones. There are weekday specials, two-hour passes and all-day passes so you can choose whatever floats your boat, and budget.

Northern Suburbs
Bounce Joondalup
35/57 Joondalup Drive, Edgewater WA 6027

I asked multiple friends which play centre was a favourite for them or their kids and you guessed it— was on the top of the list. Whilst there is literally something for every age, my friends with school-aged kids ranked this number one and I have to say—my nephew Ardie is almost nine and this is one of the places he can’t get enough of, even if I do have to tear him away from dodgeball to try his hand at something else.
The Joondalup Bounce is massive and as well as the aforementioned dodge, there’s a big free jump section, basketball (with trampolines), soft landing bag, wall climbing, high ropes course, bungee tower and more. If you book online, an hour for kids 110cm and over is $22.50 but we always end up extending by an hour or more which is $12 a pop. Whilst I could join in, I tend to sit at the café which overlooks everything and listen to a podcast in between trying to get him to stop for a drink and catch his breath—no easy feat.
Best for: School-aged adventure seekers (5-12 years)
Inflatable World
4 Elcar Lane, Joondalup WA 6027
Go for parent of the year with a trip to where your kids (and you) can spend two hours climbing and bouncing on some of the biggest inflatable playgrounds in the country. The high energy activity centre is full of fun with knock-out wrestling duels, giant slides, obstacle courses, bouncy castles and climbing walls that promise absolute exhaustion after just one session.
For kids aged five and over, two hours of inflatable play will set you back $17. For the adults young at heart, you’re up for the same price. It’s a sure-fire way to get your cardio in, and we reckon you’ll be set for a ridiculously good time.

Playdates Kids Cafe
Karrinyup Shopping Centre, 200 Karrinyup Road, Karrinyup WA

There’s no denying it, is one of Perth’s finest and most Instagrammable play centres you’ll ever come across. Not only is it an aesthetic experience, kids can learn and play in the pastel-coloured ball pit, jump in a mini-Tesla (imagination time here), shop for fruit and veggies in the organic play market, style their hair, play dentist or try their hand at musical instruments.
My sister Rachel has visited her fair share of play centres and says this is one of the best she’s ever been to. She said the cleanliness is phenomenal (a big tick for her) and watching our three-year-old niece get dressed up and play nurse as well as shop in the kids’ market was next-level cute. They dropped in to Yochi for a post-playtime treat and this got her serious brownie points—our niece still refers to her as the aunty that took her to the playcentre and asks to go back over a year later.
For little ones between seven and 12 months, an hour entry is just $8.80 and for those aged between one and seven, you can opt for an hour at $16.80 or take advantage of the unlimited day pass for $38.80.

Little Land
76 Erindale Rd, Balcatta WA 6021
inspires play and learning through role-play as kids explore a scaled down version of the real world. There’s a grower’s market, cafe, cosy home setting, doctor’s surgery, construction site and emergency services area complete with a whole heap of props and dress ups to let kids go wild—it may be the cutest thing you’ve seen all week. For regular visitors, there’s pop-up stalls to keep kids on their toes from a vet to an office space, a city centre and caravan park.
My friend Kate has a gorgeous two-year-old and she said she loves that Little Land provides a space for letting toddlers explore and play out different scenarios. Her daughter loves getting dressed up and pretending to be a chef, vet, post office worker or teacher. So sweet!
For kids under one, a 90-minute session is $15, and from one to eight it’s $20. Sensory sessions are also available to offer a low stimulus environment to support the needs of children with autism and specific sensory needs. These sessions are limited to 15 kids and specially trained staff are available to assist families during their play session.

Mighty Jungle

This beautiful jungle-themed indoor and party hosting extraordinaire is the perfect spot to catch up with a group of friends and their kiddos with its café and gorgeous play areas. We love this play centre for toddlers as there’s a gated area for kids under five to make sure they can play freely and safely with plenty on offer.
There’s interactive projectors, ball machines and ball pits, large soft play climbers, slides, ride-on cars, trains and honestly so much more. You’ll want to make sure you stay for lunch and try the Vietnamese-style delights, like signature fried chicken wings and spicy beef noodles. Don’t worry—there’s plenty available for the less adventurous ones too.
Entry is between $6-12 and gives you unlimited play time so you can hop between the different play areas and café as often as you like.

Bounce Osborne Park
5 O’Malley Street, Osborne Park, 6017
Let me start by saying, just like Joondalup, Osborne Park’s is an excellent adrenaline centre for bigger kids but I am also a massive fan of the minibounce zone and can put my hand up to say I’m a regular when I’m on toddler babysitting duties. Built for kids five and under, there’s a two-level active play structure with a dual slide (yes, I’ve tried it), ball pit and mini challenge course, and I swear—kids love doing this on repeat. It’s a great way for them to build confidence and independence whilst getting to explore their movement skills.
If you get a chance to visit during off peak times, little ones can wander on over to the big kids’ area and use the free jump trampolines, basketball and big bag which is a whole lot of fun for them and parents alike. There’s a café and plenty of space to recoup in between bouncing, and trust me, you’ll need it.
During the week it's $13 for the mini bouncers and $17 on the weekend.

Ape Escape
6 The Gateway, Joondalup Drive, Edgewater WA 6027
If you’re after a play centre that ticks all the boxes for little ones and their parents, Ape Escape is a must-visit. My friends Ange and Julz regularly take their two youngest boys (both under four), and it's hands down one of their favourites. What they especially love is the age-restricted sessions just for younger kids—so there’s no need to worry about older kids charging through and knocking over the little ones mid-swing.
The space is huge, and there’s so much variety that the boys never get bored. From climbing walls that work on their grip strength to big, soft play areas where they can jump, swing, roll and crash into pads (which they love), it’s a dream for kids who need to move. There’s plenty of space to explore and loads of safe “risky play” elements—like ropes and swings with padded landings underneath—perfect for building confidence and burning energy.
It’s also a sneaky win for parents who want to support gross motor development while the kids just think they’re having the time of their lives. Basically, it’s a wild indoor jungle gym where everyone leaves happy—and a little bit worn out. Toddler play is just $10 and no bookings are required—just be sure to check the website for up-to-date session times.

The Beach House Kids Fun Centre
6 Halley Rd, Balcatta WA 6021
is a total win for families with kids of all ages—just ask toddler mum and all-round superstar Annmarie, who loves the variety of play areas for little ones right through to primary schoolers. What sets it apart is how well it caters to different age groups, with big kids and toddlers able to stay in separate zones so everyone can play safely. The gated toddler area is perfect for those just finding their feet, with powered rides, building blocks, ride-on toys and soft inflatables that make exploring fun and safe.
For the older kids, there’s plenty to keep them entertained (and then some), including a 30-metre flying fox they’ll want to ride again and again, bouncy castles, a huge climbing structure, air hockey, foosball and even virtual reality games. There’s loads of space for adults to chill out too, with seated areas that make it easy to supervise or relax while the chaos unfolds.
When hunger strikes, there’s food and drinks on hand to refuel little adventurers so they can keep playing for hours. And for birthdays? Dedicated party zones make it super easy to host big group celebrations without the stress. Kids over one are $12 and you can stay for as long as you like.

Lollipop's Playland & Cafe
Butler, Ellenbrook and Wanneroo
is the ultimate action-packed indoor playground where kids can scale climbing frames, whizz down slides and dive into ball pits for hours of good fun. Designed with variety in mind, there’s a whole heap of entertainment to explore including a toddler area so little tots can play at their own pace and more challenging zones for the older ones to inspire movement and creativity.
Each element has been thoughtfully created to capture kids’ attention and encourage play that’s as entertaining as it is developmental by testing coordination and providing opportunities to make new friends. Plus, there’s also centres in Bayswater and Jandakot if you live a little further afield.

Designed just for kids five and under, these sessions run during off-peak hours and give the little ones free rein of the trampolines, foam pits and soft play areas—without worrying about being bowled over by the big kids.
