The Details
The Verdict
Rechabite Hall, one of the founding buildings along the William Street strip in Northbridge, was once a vibrant dance hall. It then sat dormant, gathering dust, until Marcus Canning, the founder of Fringe World, Rooftop Movies and The Bakery, got it back into tip-top shape in 2019. It's now home to four separate venues and we couldn't pick a favourite if we tried.
There’s the in the basement serving up plenty of DJ-fuelled dance sessions, the , which goes off all year round, and last but not least , the modern Asian restaurant on the ground floor.
If you need an extra push to pop by, Double Rainbow just dropped their new season menu and it is packed with cult dishes. From Korean fried chicken with caviar to oyster and soju flights, there's loads of exciting things to tuck into with plenty of gluten free and vegan options too. Our pick though? The pimped up Asian spin on the mighty ol' McMuffin, with duck sausage, peanut hoisin and onions. Yum!
