From 16 April to 15 June 2025, expect a meticulously curated spread, from expertly grilled robatayaki skewers to premium sashimi and inventive small plates.
Think Hamachi, salmon, tuna, and octopus sashimi, alongside caramelised Grilled Unagi and bold, savoury Japanese Beef Curry. From the robatayaki grill, savour smoky Japanese Pork Skewers and Chicken Yakitori, or opt for the delicate Beef Tataki Salad with ponzu dressing. Joining Peppermint’s Chef de Cuisine Chef Leon and his culinary team as a special guest for this buffet is Chef Degan Septoadji, one of Indonesia’s most celebrated culinary experts. Bali-born Chef Degan has over 30 years of experience in the global culinary industry, having held executive roles at international luxury hotels and resorts worldwide. He was even a former judge on MasterChef Indonesia.
As for the food, you can expect a feast of authentic Indonesian specialties. Meat lovers will delight in the rich and robust flavours of Whole Kambing Guling, roast lamb marinated with bold Indonesian herbs and spices, and Black Angus Beef Guling, a succulent roasted Black Angus beef prepared with traditional spices. For seafood enthusiasts, the Lobster Bakar Bumbu Jimbaran takes centre stage with its grilled lobster, seasoned with bold Jimbaran-style spices.
Traditional favourites like the hearty and flavourful Mie Bakso, a noodle soup paired with succulent Indonesian meatballs, Sate Lilit, minced meat satay served on lemongrass skewers, and Sop Buntut, a deeply flavoured oxtail soup, will also be on offer.
To complete the meal, you can indulge in a special Buka Puasa Takjil, featuring dates to break fast during Ramadan, along with an array of traditional Indonesian desserts. Served tableside, the new Beef Apple Crumble is a combination of tender slow-cooked beef and tangy sweet green apple marinated in pomegranate cider vinegar. Tiger beer is used as a tenderising marinade, achieving tenderness and a rich, flavourful depth.
