Returning in November 2023, is a festival dedicated to the finest sparkling wines from Australia and around the world, with more than 60 sparkling wines on show to taste and enjoy, and free entry for the first time this year.
Between bubbles, sip spring-inspired cocktails from El Jimador, Gin Mare and Matso's Ginger Beer pop-up bars, or check out the local small-batch distillers including Finders Distillery and Small Mouth Vodka and over 40 still wines on offer alongside the sparkling.
Champagne and oysters are a match made in heaven, so there'll be an oyster bar run by a fifth-generation oyster farmer, plus gourmet food pop-ups offering paella, Japanese aburi bites, pizza and loads of cheese and charcuterie so you can craft your perfect harbourside picnic all accompanied by live music. After dark, the DJ Garden will kick off with a fusion of disco, R 'n B, soul and house tunes to see you into a sparkling evening.
This year, admission is free—but you'll need to purchase a tumbler and pre-paid tokens for $37.50 (either for express pick-up, or on the day) if you want to get in on tastings; otherwise, you can turn up and buy drinks as you go. Head for more information.
