Relaunching in April 2025, The Norfolk not only revamped its look, but it's set out on a mission to become Redfern’s favourite pub.

The new menu now champions local suppliers and positions personality and heart at the venue’s core; think reimagined Aussie classics like beef and VB party pies, mini roast chicken rolls, and pork and fennel sausage rolls (sold by the inch), with a Good Ways Deli x Ciccone and Sons Lamington ice cream sandwich leading the dessert board.

Out in the courtyard, Toby Wilson continues to serve bold Mexican flavours at Ricos Tacos, where frozen cocktails, a range of margaritas, and textbook tacos and street food-style snacks are the go.

In terms of bar offerings, featured beverages include cult favourite wines and beers, aperitivo-style cocktails (both built and tapped), and an exclusive collab with Yulli’s Brews: a staple dark lager designed to “capture the spirit of Redfern in a schooner”. The concept is a collaborative approach to pub culture—bringing the best elements and vendors of Redfern together in a single venue.

The weekly lineup includes happy hour between 4pm and 6pm Monday–Friday (with $7 schooners and $12 cocktails), meet and veggie raffles on Fridays, and Sunday sessions with $10 Bloody Marys and roast rolls.

The pub's interior has been given a complete facelift, letting the pub’s Art Deco roots shine through in a blend of pale greens, warm reds, soft creams and custom carpeting. The brick and timber foundations are untouched, gently acknowledging the storied past of this much-loved venue.
