Now a regular instalment on Brisbane's winter social calendar, pop-up is returning to its famed riverside spot with the Veuve Clicquot Winter Chalet. Once again, the outdoor terrace will be getting an Alpine-themed makeover brought to you in collaboration with iconic champagne house Veuve Clicquot, alongside a trio of signature dining experiences.
The seasonal menu this year is once again definitely winter-worthy, featuring whole baked brie, Albrolhos Island scallops, jamon croquettes, burrata arancini, and the now iconic flaky Moreton Bay Bug croissant with lime and dill mayo. Wash it down with a glass (or bottle) of Veuve Clicquot or take your pick of Australian, New Zealand and French wines on the list. There'll also be frosty cocktails like the Clicquot Sidecar with Hennessy VS, Grand Marnier and lemon topped off with Veuve Clicquot to fill your cup.

Each beautiful igloo has a very apres-ski vibe and is positioned right along the riverside, befit with luxe faux furs, comfy armchairs and Aspen-style decor. Book one to have all to yourself with a minimum of four guests starting at $75 per person, with the package including a glass of Veuve Clicquot, Moreton Bay bug croissant, jamon croquettes, foie gras parfait, baked brie and sfogliatelle for dessert—an Italian pastry with creamy custard. You can also just walk in and find a cosy seat by the river, of course—the apres-ski vibes aren't just inside the igloos.

After its popular launch last year, Dining in the Domes will also once again be returning to the Clicquot Chalet, a multi-course winter feast designed to tantalise your tastebuds. Starting with a glass of Veuve Clicquot, you'll be hitting the (culinary) slopes in the form of wood-smoked buffalo mozzarella, Albrolhos Island scallops with custard apple and yuzu, 2GR Full Blood Wagyu flank steak, hand-rolled gnocchi, and a caramelised pear and almond tarte tartin. Available Tuesday to Thursday for $160 per person, this delicious spread is for parties of two to six people—so you better let the group chat know now.

Of course, it wouldn't be a Customs House affair without the chance to get your pinkies up, which is why the Clicquot Chalet Winter High Tea will also be returning with a fresh selection of the finest finger foods you'll want to get your mittens on. Featuring savoury canapes, freshly baked scones, and an array of petit fours, sip on a glass of Veuve Clicquot and steaming French tea or coffee from Tuesday to Thursday for $105 per person for parties of two to six people.
Break out the knitwear and make a beeline for Brisbane’s pop-up igloo bar for champagne, hearty winter feeds and cosy igloos with loads of Insta-opps—the Veuve Clicquot Winter Challet will be open from Tuesday 13 May.
