Light Years has officially opened its doors in Perth, and they're promising punchy plates and a curated wine list featuring plenty of local vino. Light Years is blending their iconic flavours and existing favourites with some new dishes that embrace their new location. Expect some cult-favourites like kingfish ceviche with coconut, chilli and kaffir lime, crispy masterstock pork belly, and miso ribs to all be making their way west (and into our bellies), while new dishes will include steak tartare with gochujang, pickled pear and umami cream, lobster noodles with laksa basque, and an expanding dumpling selection.

The feed me menu at has to be one of the best in Perth. This stunning South East Asian restaurant takes its spot in the oh-so cool complex and is headed up by Head Chef Sundoo Kim (whose extensive resume includes the likes of Chin Chin in Melbourne). Everything is far too good to choose between so we reckon it's best to let the kitchen do their thing. Rest assured, the food is plentiful.

Just when we thought we couldn’t love MasterChef’s Jenny (and the genius behind ) much more, the opening of was announced. Perth’s first Vietnamese tapas bar, this place seriously delivers the goods. Start with small plates like grilled corn ribs and lace spring rolls before moving on to Vietnamese salads and flavoursome curries and stir fries.

Charred, caramelised, smoked and scorched - is all about celebrating the traditional art of the Asian grill. The team here combine traditional spices and cooking techniques with the best West Aussie produce going around. Signature dishes include grilled prawns with tamarind curry, roast duck with mandarin jus and Davidson Plum gel plus lamb ribs with a Szechuan glaze. For dessert? How about a black sesame mousse with house made ice cream, yuzu gem and a spiced tuille? Sounds dreamy.

Brought to us by the absolute legends behind Authentic Bites, is where you can find some of Perth’s best parcels of goodness. The juicy soup dumplings (known as xiao long bao to you fancy folk) are some of the best we’ve ever tried. The unsuspecting scallion noodles are also top notch.

Nao’s ramen has earnt itself cult status in the Perth world of ramen and we can guarantee you won’t be disappointed. The steaming bowls of rich pork broth and handmade noodles are comfort food to the max.

It may be pricey but we’re firm believers that everyone deserves a meal at Nobu at least once in their life. The world’s freshest sashimi, fusion tacos and miso eggplant are all out of this world. Our top picks are the Wagyu Shanghai dumplings, Szechuan spiced beef tartare and an Asian-style burrata dressed in soy and yuzu.

Perth foodies were pretty excited to learn , the chef-owner behind super popular Balinese hangouts like and decided to bring a taste of Bali to our shores. The menu is seasonable and features heaps of flavour-packed dishes using only the freshest ingredients from fun bar snacks to share over a cocktail to hearty curries and desserts.

Everything is delicious so we recommend ordering the banquet and leaving your luck to the good folk in the kitchen.
